The event was more than just a commercial launch, both Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine and ELLE Ukraine described it as a cultural occasion. Friends of the brand, clients, stylists, and admirers of Ukrainian fashion gathered to celebrate.
A space that impresses at first sight
Guests stepped into a space where every detail speaks the language of Ukrainian traditions. Clay-and-hay walls, wooden elements inspired by traditional Ukrainian bead necklaces, and a carpet featuring the Tree of Life ornament, created by artisans from Reshetylivka. All of this was complemented by a carefully balanced palette of colors and textures.
The word from the founder
FOBERINI’s founder, Iryna Lymarenko, shared with guests the personal story behind the brand. She spoke about how the idea was born, the challenges along the way, and what gave her the strength to keep moving forward. The key message of the evening was clear: despite challenging times, FOBERINI continues to grow while staying true to its core idea: blending Ukrainian traditions with modernity.
FOBERINI is a consistent narrative of how Ukrainian identity can sound modern, confident, and beautiful: in space, in garments, and in details.
Evening program
The opening was accompanied by live music performed by a bandura player, enhancing the spirit of the space and setting the tone for the evening.
Guests also took part in a jewelry-making мастер-class, where, together with a FOBERINI artisan, they created their own customized pieces using Opishnia ceramic elements, traditional beads, and corals.
A special highlight was the live sketch portraits by an illustrator, each guest received a unique drawing of themselves wearing a FOBERINI embroidered shirt as a keepsake.
Another distinctive feature of the evening was a selection of signature cocktails, created in collaboration with KUI Bar. Inspired by traditional flavors, the drinks featured notes such as smoked pear and cherry blossom, adding a contemporary гастрономічний dimension to the cultural experience.
The atmosphere of the event organically reflected the philosophy of the space warm, authentic, and alive.
