Bukovyna is a historic and cultural region spanning the border between Ukraine and Romania, nestled between the middle reaches of the Dniester River and the Carpathian Mountains. Today, it largely corresponds to Ukraine’s Chernivtsi region—a land where, despite centuries of cultural diversity and changing borders, Ukrainians have preserved their unique identity.
The Blossom of Bukovyna collection was born from exploring this enduring resilience. What inspired us most was the remarkable strength of the Bukovynian people. Despite their region’s complex history and geographical crossroads, they developed a distinctive aesthetic that reflects their resilience, character, and unwavering spirit.
Traditional Bukovynian embroidery is known for its vibrant colors, rich floral and geometric ornaments, dense expressive stitching, balanced symmetry, and relaxed silhouettes. We have reinterpreted this heritage through contemporary FOBERINI designs, creating the «Blossom of Bukovyna» collection.
Each piece is adorned with handcrafted knitted details while preserving the region’s authentic motifs, traditional color palette, and signature cut—bringing the timeless beauty of Bukovyna into a modern wardrobe.
