FOBERINI’s New Flagship Space: Where Tradition Comes to Life in Modernity
FOBERINI’s New Flagship Space: Where Tradition Comes to Life in Modernity

Kyiv, 17/19 Mykilsko-Botanichna street – this is where FOBERINI’s new flagship space has opened. The location is a living embodiment of the brand’s values, where every material, detail, and form speaks the language of Ukrainian culture.

Interior Philosophy: Naturalness Without Compromise

The space, designed by Rina Lovko Studio, is built on three key principles: natural materials, simplicity of form, and references to Ukrainian traditions. Every design decision carries a deep cultural meaning.

The project was awarded second place in the “Commercial Interiors and Office Spaces” category at Ukraine’s leading architectural competition, it is a recognition that design can be simultaneously beautiful, functional, and culturally rich.

Clay, Hay, Wood, and Beads: Meaningful Details

The primary wall material is clay mixed with hay. The surface is intentionally left untreated, preserving its raw authenticity and texture, which creates a sense of warmth, comfort, and organic harmony. As noted by Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine, this solution is “not only sustainable, but also deeply authentic.”

Vertical wooden elements play a special role in the space. Their form references traditional Ukrainian wooden bead necklaces, a symbol of national identity. At the same time, they serve a practical purpose, acting as supports for metal rails used to display clothing.

A standout feature is a carpet adorned with the brand’s signature “Tree of Life” motif. It was crafted by artisans in the town of Reshetylivka in the Poltava region, which is one of the historic centers of Ukrainian carpet weaving.

Here, architecture becomes a language, and symbols become an integral part of the space.

Light, Space, Serenity

The interior is designed with openness and natural light in mind. Large windows fill the space with daylight and create a visual connection with the city, reminding us that tradition exists within a living contemporary context.

Design as an Extension of the Brand’s Philosophy

The new space has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine and ELLE Ukraine. Harper’s Bazaar described it as “an architectural statement that merges the authenticity of Ukrainian traditions with contemporary design approaches and sustainability.” ELLE highlighted how “modern design harmoniously blends with deep ethnic traditions, creating an atmosphere of refinement and warmth.”

FOBERINI’s new flagship space is an architectural statement about how Ukrainian identity can sound modern, confident, and beautiful. The brand consistently builds its story not only in fashion, but also within the cultural sphere. Here, clothing gains a deeper context, while the visual language of the interior becomes a natural extension of FOBERINI’s philosophy.
