For example, in Prykarpattia women wore keptar (sleeveless fur coat), and the Dnieper people were wearing kersetka (length and style of sleeveless jacket varied depending on the region). Kersetka was popular in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltavska region and partly in the south of Ukraine. And in the foothills of the Carpathians and Polesie Ukrainian wore horset (cloth vest).
