For example, in Prykarpattia women wore keptar (sleeveless fur coat), and the Dnieper people were wearing kersetka (length and style of sleeveless jacket varied depending on the region). Kersetka was popular in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltavska region and partly in the south of Ukraine. And in the foothills of the Carpathians and Polesie Ukrainian wore horset (cloth vest).

Usually adnarak was red and in the back folds were made that decorated the bottom with bands of embroidered ornament. In Podolia, Bukovina and Carpathian region Derga (horbotka) was used – it is a woman’s waist gown. But in the central regions of Ukraine Ukrainian national costume was not possible without mimky (malyovanka). It was a skirt of homemade cloth with a printed picture. And zapaska is at all is the oldest form of Ukrainian waist unsewn dress. It was popular on the Dnieper. Also Plakhtiy was popular on the Dnieper. This is partly sewn waist gown. But in the Lviv region women wore schorsch (bright striped skirt on white canvas).
